Vision Éternel To Collaborate With Ethereal Beauty
Alexandre Julien of Vision Éternel has made plans to collaborate with a brilliant new talent, Jordan Leal of Ethereal Beauty. Ethereal Beauty, an ambient/post-rock project from Calexico, California, formed very recently, in late April of 2008. Jordan Leal, who also currently plays in the atmospheric black metal band Desolation, needed a more positive musical output. One of Ethereal Beauty’s influences listed on the band’s Myspace page was Vision Éternel (the other three influences listed were Parabstruse, Alcest and Amesoeurs). Impressed, Alexandre Julien contacted Jordan Leal this spring and the pair hit it off immediately.
The current plan is for each band to record two exclusive songs for a split 7″ vinyl. No record label has been secured for this project but both bands are in talk with Abridged Pause Recordings. The release should be out some time in 2009.
